Silently fading

Silently fading

A dark misguided lonely path
when suffering a hellish wrath
from deep within the voices came
still none dare speak of all my shame

In horror unrest a sleepless night

how past regrets still snuff the light
behind my eyes a soul does bleed
love destroyed as killed by greed

Together one, together fell

no longer can my mind still tell
all that was close has not been near
all once known is lost I fear

Broken words, to break a vow

a lonely path I tread on now
Demons pry that dwell below
Death haunts my dreams with ghostly glow

Tortured me, tormented one

my injured soul takes solace none
release of life, embrace of death
to die alone, I'll hold my breath

A deep vast hole right through my core

resembles much a fading shore
drifting away from stable ground...
for minds do break without a sound.
