Simplicity

Simplicity

Creation; so meaningful your beauty is colorful and bright

We watch with amazement to try and understand all the scientific explanations

Man thinks he has the answer with just a few missing links

Man thinks if he can unlock your mystery he'll know his reason for being

We search for the answers to love and life

Each and every day brings a new struggle and plight

When will we accept that we're just here?

Will we never have the answers while we're on earth?

Man waits for the second coming of Christ

We want to ask him the reasons and the purpose of our lives

The irony of all of this is the answer we all know

All we have to do is believe in God and give ourselves to him

Then we can look in our hearts and memories

The answer to our being, of creation's beauty and existence

Is in God's answer to Moses when Moses asked God his name

Simplicity was as hard to believe then as it is today

God's answer to Moses told us more than God's name

It was the answer to all the questions we keep searching for in vain

"I am that I am"

Very well written and expressed. Not many people have the grace to write poetry such as this, but you do. Keep it up!

Poetry is what is lost in translation.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
