    Sixteen

Sixteen candles, sixteen stones, sixteen years that are totally gone. I know that time I can't retain, but I have a young Goddess to claim. She was taken away in the beginning, I had no clue. But baby understand, I am here to live, provide, protect, and die to save you. Your hurt and pain will be healed over time, but bring your tragedies to me and I'll make them mine. No more tears, I am hear. The Most High has sent me to you, even though it took sixteen years. I have a lot of Love to give you and thank you for accepting me. I promise to never intentionally disappoint my baby, the lady in my life. Who grew up on her own, with family not her own, but Smooth I'm here even though it took me sixteen years. Its not my fault, but its my pain. So many years not even knowing my name. The lies you were told, the way someone manipulated your soul. That will not happen again I promise, after sixteen years you do deserve words that are honest. I Love You Shanquilla Maria Johnson
