    Somewhere up there

Somewhere up there Somewhere up there, dark and cold.
Beneath winter skies which preach so bold.
The magic stars shine way up there
and make me warm in bitter air.

I know a land thats far away
where people laugh and children play
its made of glaciers, forged of time.
The clocks dont tick but sing and chime.

A joyous elf rests in his chair
just waiting for that time of year.
He'll make this land known the whole world wide
and make all children teary eyed.

It's Christmas land thats way up north
and old Chris Kringle looking forth!
Somewhere out there dark and cold.

Good rhyme ~ nice thing to read to the kids!
