    That Boy In The Showers

The lone boy huddles on the floor of the shower
If they saw him would they laugh and point?
Would they cry or would some of them just wonder why?
His knees drawn up to his chest, the girl presses her face against them
Longing to be the boy she never was
The boy huddled on the shower floor can't cry,
but if he tips his face just right the water can be his tears
Will he be taken into warm arms?
Or will they just walk on by?
The lone boy that huddles in the shower.
