The Beginning
As i walk through the path of no return, i stop to wonder
how all my life choices have been made and done
The decisions i have made, leaving a deep scar within me
pressures of todays society has taken its toll on me
I long for a better place to press ahead, to fullfill my dreams
mistakes have been made and many tears have fallen
but realizing that i can go on, has sharpened my senses
things that have been wrong in the past are all gone
having this newness of life makes me a better person
until the end i will be strong, making each day go on
not sitting adrift as others do, but having meaning
and to thank God for helping me make it through
