The Birth Of A Song

Poem Commentary

I write lyrics too and this was inspired by the verse, phrase of thoughts for a song. How lyrics, song, melody and, musician can not be alone. Its a marriage of thought, thought of words and song.

The Birth Of A Song

The birth of a song
These are my thoughts,
These are the words I write,
They now become that of a lyric
A journey into the love of a melody,
A melody covered,
Blanketed by the warmth of its song,
A song sung blues
A song sung by you
The Singer Musician...
The birth of a song

These are my thoughts,

These are the words I write,

They now become that of a lyric

A journey into the love of a melody,

A melody covered,

Blanketed by the warmth of its song,

A song sung blues

A song sung by you

The Singer Musician...
The birth of a song

As a sometime songwriter, I connected with your phrase, "A journey into the love of a melody." Great line. Harv
