The Birth of Love.. Shirl 1968

Honey, Remember that day so long ago,
When we firs met, and God did bestow
Upon me the chance to change the past...
From misery to a joy that would last!
Yes, remember that day so long ago,
The Birth of a Love, A Love that would grow...
    Grow, until with its strength,
Living is enjoyable, whatever its length.
Each passing day gives me a reason
To anticipate tomorrow and each new season.
Honey, before you, how often I've wished....
For love such as ours, love that I've missed,
Through love, doors have open and now I can see
Beauty befoe unotices, llife as it really can be.
"Watching the sunset of a day gone past,
A final glimmer and then at last....
The day is gone, but it left behind
Memories for us, left to remind
Us of a day a sharing, a day of fun.
A day that was spent, being as one."
Just one day of thousands, when as my wife.
We'll share the future, truly happy with life.

We were married Juliy 18, 1968 and honeymoon night given Room 18 Columbia Motel, Yakima, Wa. We, God willing, will celebrate 50 years, July 18, 2018!

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
