the blade

the blade

when I look at the blade now
I think
how could have things gotten so bad
how did I result to that
why didn't I see the way everyone would have felt
if my plan
would have ever worked out
there's nothing I would have lost then
but now I would have missed the days
I now love the best
that stupid blade when I walk in
is the first thing I see
and I’ll be damned if I don't think
why not do it again

This is a very powerful poem. You are very talented-please take care of yourself.

Poetry is what is lost in translation.
