    The Cut

The pain is just to great,
It's going to lead to a horrible fate.
I cut to ease the pain,
And afterwards, realize it's so lame.
It starts with throwing a fit,
Then it leads to cutting it.
I wander what's going to happen if I cut too deep,
    Will I be too weak?
    I guess time will tell,
    I hope I don't go to hell.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
