    The Huricane

Once upon a time in Florida there was a huge hurricane.
There was a family at home when it started raining, the Keith family.
Their names were Ken,Morgan,Tina and their unborn child,Jarrek.

    Tina called the shelter.
They said "you should have left a long time ago".

The family jumped in the car and headed for the shelter.
    The shelter was Lyman Highschool.

It started raining hard and the car stalled.
It kept stalling for five minutes.
It finally started and they continued on but almost didn't make it.

When they finally arrived ,Ken sighed a sigh of relief.

He was still scared but pretended he wasn't for his familys sake.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
