    The Inner Heart

Hush little baby please don’t cry

Alone in the dark , My heart did sigh

A sorrowed heart a pain resides

Lost of the purity was a child’s soul

    Can I ever find her

I do not know, her cries in the dark ,could no one hear

Or was it alone she felt no one cared

    Moving forward

    She glides through life

A woman , a mother ,And some ones wife

At times she feels all can be well,

Then in the depths her heart

    Pain still dwells

So many people say just move on

    Inside she is screaming ,

    No peace in the dawn

    She tucks it away

    Puts on her smile

Putting away that lost little child,

Hush little baby please don’t cry!

Wonderful portrayal of the inner child and the struggle many women have to cope with the pains of our pasts and the scars they left inside. Well done. Write on.....
