    The Kiss

    Ever since we kissed
    I gained that tenderness
    that calm tranquility,
that for a long time I missed.

    Ever since we kissed
there was a hope at my footsteps
as an open tulip that never saw the sun,
ready to experience the joy of life.

    Ever since we kissed
    clarity was conceived
    a new spectrum was added.
new colors opened before my eyes.

    Ever since we kissed
    surrounded by that wine
it was your lips and mine
    that made all the difference.

    Now,
    I kiss those memories
    that lasted so little.
That were burning in the flames of
    a timeless period.
Short and intense, the fire faded
    and time came to us
    to letting us know...
How two torches can't never be unite,
can't fight the spirit of passion.
    When love is not around.

    Ever since we kissed
    and now we don't
    I will still remember it
as the night you lit my soul.
