    The light
    Standing on the edge I wait
    Looking over I would surely fall
    My mind wanders and I can see the end
    I have no time left any more
    Everything depends on which way
    One step forward, or one step back
    When did it come to this
    How did I get to this place
    Despair and depression wallow in me
    Where is my peace and why did it go
    Will I ever stop drowning in the dark
    I ask myself all this as I look for the light

    One step forward or one step back-been there on that edge. Keep looking for the light, it is there, just sometimes hard to find. Good job on the write.

    Whenever I see my life as being less than what I want it to be, I realize I'm comparing it to someone else's. Envy will always lead to the same place - The edge.... This is a fantastic piece - 10 from me
