The Little things (dedicated to the women who feels neglected)

Ever wonder about the Sun how much it really brings light to a dark cold place, ever think for a second without the sun that would be the end of the human race.

It's the little things we take for granted when will we come to learn, how many times do we play like children and it's the little things we take for granted never knowing which way to turn.

Why do we take for granted things that has no price like saying, "hello" to a stranger in our walks, let you lose your ability to be able to speak you'll love to speak to everybody everyday just to be able to talk.

Why do we chase money working mad hours of overtime but yet fail to say I love you to your wife, Thinking she'll be there today, tomorrow, each second of the hour, nah you have it all confused, if she was to die all she had was one life.

We shouldn't wait until our loved ones are buried in the ground to remember to send the flowers, we should send them everyday, each day is a day of being closer to our death so why would we hesitate to express your love cause in the end you'll pay.

How many times do we complain about the rain and the bad weather, but not appreciating the fact that without the rain everything will die, it's the rain that keeps everything together.

Remember in life you get four seasons Spring, Summer, Winter and fall, you ever think about this could be your last Spring, Summer, Winter and fall, shouldn't you appreciate each season and live life to the fullest until your time down here on earth is called.

Life has a way of showing you things for instance not being able to see in the dark imagine what the blind feel, yet we take for granted a beautiful lady we have by ourside we used to shower her with flowers, kisses now it's either working or watching the game imagine her heart being broken and killed.

It's the little things in life that's free like looking at a bird in a tree, like learning the words ABC, 123, I love you, man if we can only sit down and listen to nature, listen to the sunrise, listen to the birds that sing, listen to the waterfall that brings a calmness to the Mind,

Only then we'll appreciate the moments that life was at a standstill, everything wasn't that serious learn how to breathe and then you'll appreciate the beautiful things in life, that's when you won't be blind.

Don't wait until the sun begins to set to say I love you to the one well deserving, that just wants your tender loving care,Yet the one that we neglected has left you all alone and now your screaming why life is not fair,

You only get one life to live don't wait until she's gone, a shadow because then you'll be saying damn you fucked up, damn I really miss her,

It's the little things she wanted, now you realize the gift was in her eyes so you call out her name, but in return you get no reply, not even a whisper.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
