    The Million $ Question

                         The Million $ Question

Do you remember the black and white TV sets you had to turn the nob to change the channel? Do you remember the times you would put peanuts in your coke or pepsi? I don't, but I do remember when our Country was attacked. I remember all the families looking for comfort and help during hurrican Katrina. I remember when they said that Superman was the man of steal but now he is gone. That tells me that buildings can fall, no matter how tall and strong. The nature can wipe out anything anywhere. And even super heroes can't live forever. I have heard that Obama is the right path for our Country. I have heard the only way to end the war over seas is to keeps our families and loved ones over there fighting. I have heard alot of things that makes my mind race and have seond thoughts. The president and Congress promise this and promise that, but havn't seen them do much of anything. The stock market is crashing and employers are slashing. Fires over on the west coast bringing pannic to our streets, and families in our country can't afford to eat. Rich is getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. What are we to do when we can't take no more? Guns and knives in school, children going missing, take a look around and stand togther to change our future. The million dollar question I'm asking you today is what if today was the last day of our lives? What would you do to better care for Our Country?

(I know it don't ryme, but iI was told that a poem doesn't have to ryme. Just as long as it grabs the readers attention and changes their life.)
