    The One Who Made Me

Family should be an important part in everyone’s life. It’s a big part in mine. My family is large but not many of them have a deep impact on me. I love my family because I learn from every single one of them.
The person that has influenced me the most is my dad. My dad, Charles Patterson, he is the reason why I am the person I am today. He means everything to me; he is my best friend. Even though he has made a lot of bad choices in his life, he is still a great father, proud parent to my brother and I and also a great friend. He has taught me lots of things; how to throw a baseball, ride a bike, express myself and just be me. Also he has taught me to always follow my dreams and never give up.
He showed me to never hold any thing back, always speck my mind but as well show respect. Even though he has been sort of in and out of my life, he was always there when I needed him. He is an amazing dad and man. I would never trade him for anyone else in the world. I remember when I was a little girl, he would take me everywhere with him. I was and still am a major daddy’s girl and always will be.
I don’t know what I would do if and when I lose him. I thank God for allowing me to have a man like him as a father, friend and protector. He is a great father, friend, husband, son and individual. He is also a great supporter. He made me the way I am today and I would have it any other way. I love him with all my heart.
