    The prison in me

I was born not knowin that one day life was gonna teach me, show me,hurt me, use me, betray me, i grew up not knowin that life was gonne beat me, harm me, and misdirect me, i bacame a man not knowin that life will be like it is today, the pain, the cries, the lies, the people that struggle, the broken man that tries, my heart hurts to see but what i see is the Prison in Me screaming to be free. Thanks for your comments

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
