    The road to Heaven

     As we sit here  and wonder why
    we  shed tears of sadness and we
    look up to the sky
    Although you had to go  we know
    that  you took the road to Heaven
    not alone but with an Angel holding
    your hand, holding you close as we
    were unable to go with you  both,
    we are left here to  remember  what
    we had together , knowing that you
    would want us to continue living  with
    your memory  and  although  you are
    gone , we have to go on , never forgetting
    you and  one day we will travel that road
    to Heaven to once again be reunited with
    our loved ones who have traveled that road
    before us...so  watch for us as we  come to
    that point in the road  where we will be lifted
    up someday to Heaven and we will be united
    again with you and all our loved ones..

    This is written so well. I feel as if I have read a personal letter, as if I was your friend and you wanted me to know. Beautiful.

    thank you , this is in memory of all that we have lost in our family and the most recent ones .. my brother's fiancee's daughter and granddaughter.. her name on here is borderflower, u should read some of her poems.. she has lost so much it hurts when we lose someone but to have someone share with us their loss helps with ours. i feel that way anyway.. thanks again .. jolene
