The symphony of life full blown.

The symphony of life full blown.

The frigid winds of winter

chill me to the bone.

Those winds of fate and fortune,

that you must face alone.

Timpani of thunder, symbols clashing,

blinding flashes in the dark.

Discordant rhythm, cacophony of sound

the symphony of life full blown.

If the light is what you seek,

then you must set your sail,

and ride upon the sea of life

into the awesome gale.

If you would live to see the light

cast by the holy fire.

Then you must brave the searing heat

and climb upon the pyre .

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
