The Unplanted Seed

The Unplanted Seed

I fell in love with you and you fell out of love with me, forever

we can remain friends but lovers we will never be.

I had known issues left unresolved will always come to air and laughter

that you lost was never really there.

Hearts I believe are made to be torn you can tell look how there shaped

but when they are broken the pieces are often misplaced.

Lovers sometimes see different on small things or the way words are

said buts should always see eye to eye before the day they wed.

Often souls are blessed by one another's need, but my soul has been

forgotten like an unplanted seed.

I will still grow to eventually find the light and I know sometimes

to do so you have to stand up and fight.

Struggles, pain, and triumph defines all who are men

but this combination can sometimes cause the end.

They say Life is a constant of highs and lows,

but to me change is the only constant that I Know.

I will do my best to learn from life and from what it throws

and I will continue to find the light for that's what makes me grow.

Your words ring true. You are not alone in your fight. I hope you have not given up. You express yourself well.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
