the wind is dead
the rain has stopped
the world is silent.
bombs no longer fall
planes no longer fly
guns no longer fire
tanks no longer roll
no child plays in the park
no dogs barkin the park
no soldiers cry out in pain
no birds are heard in the trees
buildings stand in ruins
parks lay burnt and broken
lake beds have boiled away
fields have burned
the war has ended
the bomb was dropped
life has ended
all life as weknow it is dead.
