    Thunderstorms

    thunderstorms
    keep me snug and warm
    here in my bed
    pictured in my head
    falling like the rain
    dreams in my brain
your face sketched on the dark sky
    deep in serinity
    lost in your memory
a flash and then i see
    a moment of eturnity
    sounds like a dream
    loud as a scream
thunderstorms have all but passed me by

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
