    Timid

    He wants,
    but does not take.

    He claims,
    but fails to prove.

    He loves,
    but cannot say.

    Only in their absence,
    can he.

    But they are
    not him,
    yet, he tends
    to their whim.

    As if they matter.

    Look with your heart,
    not through
    everyone else.

    Or so be,
    by yourself,
    Shattered.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
