    I have a granddaughter, her name is Brandi
    And to me she is sweeter than candy
    Her big green eyes will melt my heart
    whether we're near or far apart
    My work keeps me away
    But at home I would like to stay
    &
    My arms are open when I come home
    Because she needs to feel safe and warm
    Our heart strings sing whenever we meet
    And the way we look, think and act alike is really neat
    Our love will go on to the end of time
    And I know she will always be mine,
    my granddaughter.
