    Truck Stop

Back to back we dont notice eachother,
Im a lonely father, your a lonely mother.
You go to the buffet, I order from the menu,
My heart is empty; yours broken and blue

We dont turn around; for comitment is too steep,
Its easy to love yet so hard to keep.
You have your ways and im stuck in mine,
We dare not break this silence line.

Your beauty catches my eyes as i peer over my sleeve,
Yet i only pay for my meal and get up and leave.
Back to my semi alone it seems,
But ill take you tonight into my dreams.
