    True love

Do you love me, or do you not
You told me once, but I forgot
I do believe, that God above
Created you, for me to love
He picked you out, from all the rest
Because he knew, I loved you the best
    I had a heart once, I know it's true
But now it's gone, from me to you
Take care of it, as I have done
For now you have two, and I have none
When I die, and you're not there
I'll wait for you, by the golden stairs
If you're not there, by judgement day
I'll know you went, the other way
And just to prove, my love is true
I'll go below, to be with you

Whooo! Didn't the story of Adam and Eve teach you anything? I liked this up to the wilting last line. Too many sell out in the name of "love," and I find little poetic about it. But then, I once did and lived to regret it. I'll not judge your work, but just leave my commentary.

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
