    Twilight Edge

It's so dark let me out.
It's so dark I cannot shout.
    Let me out of here.
    I cannot breathe.
    Let me out of here.
    I cannot see.
    I cannot move.
    I am scared.
    It's so dark.
    Why am I here.
    No more time left.
    I'm at the end.
I have no where to go.
    It's so dark all around.
    I don't exist.
    I cannot be found.
    Floating to the light.
    I can see it.
    It's so bright.
    It's not dark now.
    The light is just ahead.
    I am free now.
    I am dead.

Edgy stuff, Robinc1970; a formidable moment, harrowingly described, in which the end becomes a new beginning... effective and affecting.

this is a good poem cant wait to read other ones from you

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
