    • Ok So I'm back in my house after the eight months in the woods because of the fire. Everything seems to be ok now. I guess we will have to work with that. btw I do have my lip redone. Yay for quilting needles.

    Unbound

Seventeen years, time told by this hourglass, spilling sand from an unseen future. The blindfold that should have served as shield, removed long before her time. She bloomed like some desert flower amidst the sand spilling from the broken glass. The same flower wilts now, lacking air and light and tender care. Too tired from other perilous emotions. Drowning, though there is no water to be found. Drowning in sand she discovered long before her time. So she sits, watching. Watching though she has gone blind from the bright light reflecting from the shards. She can't see the blood, though she understands all too clearly. The clarity is what chains her. Binds her to an unsteady foundation of loose sand. The winds shift and she falls from the dunes, blown into the abysmal space of nothing and everything. The chain still dangles from her feet, but is she chained? No. She is unbound. Forever in the darkness she is free for nothing can't weigh her down until she learns how to stop and feel again.
