This life will show us many beautiful things,
Waves crashing down on miles of endless beaches,
The sun falling into the ocean just over the horizon
turning the sky into an endless multitude of vibrant colors,
A full moon illuminating the pitch black of midnight,
But none of these things can compare to the way you make me feel
with that look in your eye when we are one,
The passion that rushes through me from your gentle touch,
The heat that consumes me with my lips pressed to yours,
The world cannot rival the beauty I have found in you,
Nor can I justify with words the way you stir me from the inside out,
If I could have just one wish,
I would wish to wake up everyday
to the sound of your breath on my neck,
the warmth of your lips on my cheek,
the touch of your fingers on my skin,
and the feeling of your heart beating with mine
I love the way you touch me,
Always sending chills down my spine.
I love that you are with me,
And glad that you are mine
Sharing you with the world is crime against my heart
that fills with sadness whenever we are apart
While thinking of you as I always do,
I wrote your name in the sky,
but the wind blew it away.
I wrote your name in the sand,
but the waves washed it away.
I wrote your name in my heart,
    and forever it will stay......

I love this poem! The ending really gives it a punch. great job.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
