    Untitled

    Pain in my heart
    Like a never ending hall
    Slitting my wrists
    In the bathroom stall

    My nails ar black
    As dark as the sky
    Writing poetry
About how i want to die

    Skin tight clothes
And my hair in my face
The way my family looks at me
    Like im a big disgrace

    My eyes have cried
    So many tears
    They've been rubbed raw
    Over the years

    Nothing can replace
The way you make me feel
    Bringing me up
    And making me ill

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
