    Black and white

I am wrong which means he must be right
Which is nothing new I just lost another fight
     It's OK though I promise I'm alright
Just get out of my room and get out of my sight
You say you have proof but your evidence I will ignite
See everything isn't always black and white
You have hurt me too but I was trying to stay polite
Didn't mean to hurt you I just did it out of spite
It shouldn't have come to this I thought our future was bright
but remember whats done in the dark always comes to light

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
