Waiting Confusion

Waiting Confusion

I waited for days to see if you cared
So I sat by the window and stared and stared
Lots of things were there to see
But there was no sight of you coming for me

Without the distraction of you by my side
My breaking heart just cried and cried
And still I couldn't make my hope die
My heart says hope my mind says why

So in desperation I come to you
But theres no hint of your being blue
It seems that I really meant nothing to you
And I don't have any idea what to do

This is a poetic gem in all of its love-lament-verse. Bravo.

Poetry is what is lost in translation.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
