    Waiting

When my heart has finished minding
    You came along again
To turn my world up side down
    And maybe my heart again

    Isit here by the telephone
    Waiting for that call
To tell me that you love me
And you want me once more

    I just can't stop thinking
Of the times we spent together
When you held me in you arms

But all I can do is wait
Maybe one day you'll be mine
Until that day, when it comes
I'll keep waiting on the line

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
