    Waiting

    I'm waiting for the day and the hour,
    When you'd trust me and give me the credit that due,
    Because the love I have for you is true:

    I'm waiting for you to understand,
    That you have a real man and not a kid,
    And I'm not here to do you like your ex's did;

    All I want is to love you sincerly,
    Kissing you and holding you near me,
    Loving you down fron your head to your toe,
    Because I truly love you and want everyone to know;

    I'm waiting and waiting for my time to come,
    When you and I can cash in the arguing and have some fun,
    I love you mind,body,and soul,
    And you are more precious to me than silver and gold;

    The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

    Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
