    Walking With Me

My poetry is my lifeline to Freedom, I can't breathe deep without it, the way I cope, the way I scream in silence,
my crag and in battle I can throw it like a stone, but solitude is my kryptonite cause I don't favor being alone,
so the paper and I caress the mood, often we become one, just that smooth,
like the sky hangs to cover the heaven's, I am the height my poems are my leaven,
cheerful cherishing of secrets unleashed, a way to be thorough when walking with me.

I truly love the rhythm of this poem. It was put together beautifully.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
