What do I see

What do I see

A BLANK PIECE OF PAPER AND WHAT DO I SEE?
THE ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES FOR YOU AND FOR ME.

A DAY FULL OF LAUGHTER AND FUN,
A MOMENT TO JUST BASK IN THE SUN.

A KISS THAT STOPS TIME, ONLY WE EXIST.
A JOLT TO THE HEART, ONE LOVE CAN NOT RESIST.

OUR FIRST PLACE TOGETHER, NOT LAVISH OR REFINED.
BUT TO US IT IS GRAND, OUR ONE OF A KIND.

THE DAY WE BECOME ONE IN OUR VOWS TO GOD,
THE HEAVENS REJOICE, THE ANGELS APPLAUD.

WILL RICHES AND WEALTH FILL OUR FUTURE, ONLY GOD KNOWS FOR SURE,
BUT THE GREATEST GIFT WE HAVE, A LOVE THAT WILL ENDURE.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
