What Heaven Is

What Heaven Is

I look out on the water
To see the sun set to the West
I open up my arms
To take the world in with one breath

I climb up on the Mountains
to view the Sky and the Earth below
And I walk across the Great Plains
To stand with the Harvest we have grown.

And of all my Worldly confessions
I'm reminded through my sins
That the greatest gift He ever gave
Is the beauty of what Heaven is.

This is the Body of Christ
the Church standing as one
The pride of what He's done.

This is the Body of Christ
The Earth, the Wind and Sea
Together you and me
This must be what Heaven is

I stand among the redwoods
Amidst the Autum full
And I wade through a Crystal Mountain stream
Just to purify my soul

And I stand among the wreckage
Of a country great with strength
And I'll spill my blood, my sweat and loose my life
To defend her at any length

We are the Body of Christ
Standing tall pride of all we've done
Yes we are the Body of Christ
Father, Spirit, Son , Together we are one
This must be what heaven is

Like the Eagle takes to flight
The World within my sight
With the message of Unity

We are the Body of Christ
Standing in the light
Serving under what is wrong and right
This must be what Heaven is
