    What I Want From You

These are the things I want from you,
Keep me smiling, keep me happy, and you'll get it back too.

When my feet hurt with no feeling of relief to gain,
Be there to ease the excrusiating pain.
When I'm having cloudy days and the rain won't go away,
Be there to enlighten and give me a brighter day.

When I'm having a bad moment with alot on my mind,
Give me your ear to vent, so I can unwind.
When I'm not in a good mood and emotionally blue,
I would love to dwell in your arms where security is given to me from you.

When I'm not looking my best and my self-esteem is shot,
Your uplifting words will mean much more than a lot.
When I make a mistake and embarass myself,
To your dominant presence I would run to for help.

When you're out shopping and catering to you,
You have a queen at home, think of me too.
When I want a hug without a cause,
Show me affection without a second guess or pause.

These are the things I want from you,
Keep me smiling keep me happy, and you'll get it back too.

I don't even want to say that this is just an "excellent" poem because I really do not think that it would be doing it any justice but it is a "very excellent" piece of art. Please continue to write because from what I just read, you definitely have a God-given talent for this.

I pray for that woman in your poem to be my wife in this life, her and me living in perfect harmony

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
