    WHAT WOULD I BE

I'VE ALWAYS HAD JUST HALF A HEART
    AND WITH YOUR HEART
    I WAS MADE WHOLE
NOW I CAN CLIMB THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN
    THIS I AM SURE
AS LONG AS YOU ARE HERE WITH ME
    'CAUSE WITHOUT YOU

WHEN I LOOK INTO YOUR EYES
    I FIND MYSELF
    AND I AM SOMETHING
THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN TO ME
I COULD NOT SURVIVE IF YOU EVER LEFT
    'CAUSE WITHOUT YOU
    WHAT WOULD I BE

    YOU ARE THE GIFT
    THAT MAKES MY LIFE COMPLETE
    AND I GIVE YOU ME
    FOR A LIFETIME
A MIRALCLE SENT FROM HEAVEN ABOVE
    THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE
    AND YOU OWN MY HEART
    FOREVER THROUGHT ETERNITY
    'CAUSE WITHOUT YOU
    WHAT WOULD I BE

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
