    when i'm gone

    when day brings pain
    gently face the morning sun
feel the warmth of its embrace
liked when i was in your arms

    when night seems lonely
    stare at the countless stars
i am the brightest of them
looking at you from midnight sky

    when moments appear unbearable
close your eyes and listen well
    the wind is whispering softly
    in the most caressing way

    when memories haunt your dreams
    and waking hours hurt still
    remember that song, story reveals
of a melody our hearts once sings

you see, even when i'm gone
i never really left your side
    i am all around you
    until the end of time

Love sings a song and declares itself eternal. Very Nice!

What beautiful free verse that visualizes a life left to lonliness but finds comfort in a familiar song. Great write.

I very much like this one. The feelings show through well. I could sence where you were and where you were going. I can relate. 10

The beauty of your experiences and viewpoint with your words that give me a beautiful concept of reality. Beautiful and brilliant

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
