    Why Worry?

    Why Worry?

How can one know what tomorrow will hold
Somehow we wish we could just be told
If there is no way to know
Then why do we worry so
    What does tomorrow hold?
Will I be left out in the cold
    Or remain in this abode?
Will I walk down a narrow road
Or will I turn down yet another path
    Hoping to avoid any wrath?
    Is there love in sight,
    Or just another lonely night?
    Will I still be employed
Or the bank account destined to be void?
For now I chose to not let this economy
    Alter or affect my autonomy.
I am wise and in control
Of the choices I make as a whole.
So, for today there will be no worry or fear
Just thoughts of what I truly hold dear!!

excellent insight on how to live through adversity. i always say humanity is worrying about the wrong things that we lost how to be truly happy. very good write

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
