    Another one for Goosey

    Wide Awake

Am i wide awake or dead asleep?
Are you really gone or is this just a dream?
Did i really lose my bestfriend or is this a nightmare
that will never end? i think about these things time and time again.
I miss your blue eyes and the feel of your skin.
I miss your sarcasm ill never hear again.
I miss having ridiculous arguements just to see who'd win
I miss holding you so tight kissing you everynight telling
you one day everything will be alright
Well then i think about that day when
    my sunlight went away
Febuary 1st I kissed you and told you to
    have a good day
Febuary 1st you took part of me away
Febuary 1st I was going to make everything right
Febuary 1st you took your life
Febuary 1st will be engraved in my mind forever
Febuary 1st will be a day that will hurt for the
    rest of my life.
But im glad i got to kiss you one last time

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
