A Lifetime
It took a lifetime to get here,
to share my dreams with one who cares,
and it seemed to take a lifetime.
Never in my mind could my dreams come true, but with a man who would care, who would share, could make these dreams come true. And it seemed to take a lifetime.
Now it's crystal clear.
the one who is here to share,
the man who really cares, my one love is you.
It almost took a lifetime, but now my dreams came true. It seemed to take a lifetime, now God has sent me you.
And now it's crystal clear, the one who really cares has made my dreams come true.
It almost took a lifetime, until i found you.
Now we can spend a lifetime, making all our dreams come true.
