A New High

Try on a new high, my children.
This drug will take you our of this world string you along to another galazy, now come along with me.
You'll tell your friends about this high and you'll never have to take this ride alone.
Release your mind, set it free look around see what's here to see.

It's life my friend and the living is easy take hold of my hand,  this ride is free.Open up your mind, set your spirit free. Give up the old junk, sweep yourself free. Drink in this new air, my children.
You'll float on it, yes you'll see.
Try on a new high, sing his praises with me.

Sing your praises to our Lord. He's just out there waiting.
Just open your heart and ask to be free, be all that you can be.
It's all here for the asking , see what's here to see.

So try on a new high, my children.
One that will take you on a ride to the clouds.
On your knees, pray to be free.
Ask his forgiveness, a junkie no more.
This high will truly take you to the end.
sing his somg along with me and clearly you will see what's here to see.

Try  on a new high, sing his praises with me.
Oh God above pull me from the turbulance of these drugs.
I want to try on a new high Lord, on filled with your love....

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
