Poem Commentary

A Love Poem Sent From Heaven ~ To my very close friend Kathleen ~
Her son Luke and his little friend who was in a wheelchair were molested by a neighbor man ~ when they were 5 and 6 yrs old ~ Because of the extreme pain and torment, Luke ended his life at 18 yrs old ~by jumping off the Falls ~

I wrote this poem and framed it for my friend Kathleen~
I wrote this when I awoke and thought flowers were not enough ~

~ A Love Poem Sent From Heaven ~

Close Your Eyes Mom And Picture Me
Your Smiling Son At Peace Now
 And Full Of Tranquility
I Will Be Waiting For The Day
I See Your Gentle Smile
And The Beauty Of The Celestrial Angels
 Bringing You Home To Me
In just A Little While
I Know Your Love For Me
Was Only The Love A Mother Can Bestow
 On Her New Born Child
Whom She Barely Knows
 The First Breath I Breathed
I Saw Your Smiling Face Staring Down At Me
Such Is The Love I Know You Gave To Me
All Of The Care
All Of The Ways
You Gave Your Precious Love To Me
Mom, The Holy Father Gave Me
A Gift Of You Being My Mother
He Saw Your Tears And All Your Fears For Me
And Deceided It Was Time For Us
 To Be Free
Knowing I Am With The Most Loving Father
My Eternal Father Who Will Finish Raising Me
See Me Now Laughing Not Crying
Smiling Not Hurting
Me In The Loving Arms Of My Holy Father
 Waiting Patiently
For The Day You Will Be Home With Me

~Your Loving Son Luke~

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
