A marriage Poem
Your smile lights up the room as your voice
soothes the twilight night.
The way you move your body when you dance
puts me in a deep dark trance.
When you kiss me I feel as if I'm
being kissed by a beautiful angel.
When I'm not with you I feel as if
a part of me is missing.
I love the way you hold me close
like there is no tomorrow.
When I'm by your side I feel like I can do anything
as long as it is to protect you and keep you safe.
My life is in the palm of you hands
and my heart is yours for the taking.
If i were in my final hour I would ask to
see your beautiful face one more time.
Now the question I have come to ask is
will you take my hand in holy matrimony?
