    A Need To Remember

     How long it's been since that fateful day.
    With so many words still left to say.

    There's a need inside that screams remember
    the past the present this need never hindered

    I want to see your face as it smiles
    i need to sit and chat for awhile.

    There are many people here that
    tell me move on but in this i fear. 

    That if i do move on as they say 
    the memories of you will to soon fade away.

    So i'll  sit here and wait till the day comes
    when i get to come home to the only one i've ever loved
