A Romeo's Last words

My love why did you ever drink that wretched poison?
It flowed so cunningly through your veins
piercing your heart, killing your soul
Your eyes were dimming my love
Your face grew paler my love
The poision was draining you my love
Why did you drink it my love?
Your answer brought me tears my love
That the bottle was begging my love
I want your warmth my love
So I drink the wretched poison to join you my love

I like this poem kinda reminds me of something I'd say to a lady great minds think a like as you know, but this also could be a great R&B song, the lyrics touch my insides the most it feels really good! by the way I have written a few more poems or lyrics! grecowong@yahoo.com

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
