A True Slash

A True Slash

Michael, Freddy, Jason

They are always on the prowl, they are always chasing...

...young teens, especially women

They will chop them up, they are not forgiven

A loving but vengeful mother, masks and a burnt face

Stay away from them, get out of that spooky place

Stay awake

Keep away from the lake

And don't bother babysitting

Unless your are in the mood for danger

You must be kidding

You can't kill them

They keep coming and coming and coming

Until they kill themselves with their needless remakes and reboots

1978, 1980, 1984....the years of the boogeymen

I wish they were only on the screen. Sadly there are many, many true boogeymen out there stealthily in search of prey. I like your lighthearted take on horror flicks.

Hey, Gramps this is a hell of a stroll down slasher lane. I love it. ginga

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
